The Mission to Manhood Scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to personal growth. This scholarship is designed to support students as they transition into higher education and pursue their future aspirations.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a graduating high school senior.
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Must have been accepted into a four-year college or university.
Must demonstrate leadership, community service, or involvement in extracurricular activities.
Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit the following documents via email to m2manhood@gmail.com with the subject line: “[Your Name] - Mission to Manhood Scholarship Application”
Official or Unofficial High School Transcript (must include cumulative GPA).
College Acceptance Letter (proof of acceptance into a four-year institution).
Personal Statement (500-750 words) answering the following prompt:
How has mentorship, leadership, or community involvement shaped your personal growth, and how do you plan to use your education to make a positive impact?
Two Letters of Recommendation
One from a teacher, school counselor, or administrator.
One from a mentor, coach, community leader, or employer.
Deadline:
All applications and supporting documents must be submitted by February 28, 2025. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Selection Process:
Applications will be reviewed by the Mission to Manhood Scholarship Committee. Recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, leadership potential, community involvement, and the quality of their personal statement. Selected applicants will be notified via email.
